Refund, Returns & Warranty Policy
CMR Fabrications
Important Notice: This policy is effective at the time of purchase. By completing an order with CMR Fabrications, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below. This policy is displayed at checkout and on our website in compliance with Utah and California consumer protection disclosure requirements.
Warranty Policy
CMR Fabrications warrants all products against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of delivery to the original purchaser. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original buyer.
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, or accidents
- Normal wear and tear
- Modifications or alterations made after delivery
- Damage caused by improper installation or use outside the product's intended purpose
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect function
Any warranty that applies to third-party products or accessories sold through our website is provided solely by the original manufacturer. CMR Fabrications makes no additional warranty representations on behalf of third-party manufacturers.
To submit a warranty claim, contact us at (435) 233-4280 or cmrfabrications@gmail.com with your order number, a description of the defect, and photos documenting the issue.
Returns & Refunds — Welding Hoods
All CMR Fabrications welding hoods are made to order. Because each hood is built specifically for the customer at the time of purchase, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds on hood orders except in the following circumstances:
- The wrong hood was shipped due to an error on our part.
- The hood arrived damaged or with a verifiable manufacturing defect.
In either of these cases, CMR Fabrications will provide a prepaid return shipping label via email and will either replace the item or issue a full refund to the original payment method at the customer's preference. No restocking fee will be applied.
All other hood return and refund requests will not be accepted. We strongly encourage customers to review all product specifications, configurations, and order details carefully before completing a purchase. If you have any questions prior to ordering, please contact us — we are happy to help ensure you are ordering the correct item.
Returns & Refunds — All Other Items
For all non-hood items (including gloves and accessories), CMR Fabrications will accept returns under the following conditions:
- The item must be unused and in its original, unaltered condition, including original packaging.
- The return must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date.
- All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
- Return shipping is handled by CMR Fabrications. Once your return is approved, a prepaid return shipping label will be emailed to you. The cost of return shipping plus the 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your final refund amount.
To initiate a return, contact us at (435) 233-4280 or cmrfabrications@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return. Do not ship items back before receiving your prepaid label — unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.
Errors & Damaged Shipments
If you receive an item that is incorrect, damaged in transit, or defective, please contact us within 5 business days of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. CMR Fabrications will resolve the issue promptly at no cost to you, including a prepaid return label where applicable.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances:
- Any welding hood (made-to-order — see above)
- Items that have been used, installed, modified, or altered in any way
- Items returned outside the 30-day return window
CMR Fabrications reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet the conditions outlined above. Policy is subject to change without notice.
