I'm a welding instructor with Lincoln Tech in South Plainfield NJ. I've been welding for 25 years starting in structural steel for ten years and then ASME pressure vessels for twelve, and now an instructor for three. I just received my 2nd Skin welding jacket with integrated glove storage and I love it. I can't believe the construction and quality of materials for the price. I'm very impressed and I'm sending the link to my students past and present. I haven’t worn it to weld yet, but I've had enough gear over the years to recognize quality when I see it and feel it. I have not welded in this jacket yet. As with every order that Ive ever placed with CMR, it arrived at my door super fast. It was very obvious when i opened the package that its exactly as described and top tier quality. Most of my welding magician shirts cost more than this jacket and if they can handle the heat, i have little doubt this thing will perform. I especially like the elastic cuffs rather than buttons. Fits perfect. Im on the smaller side of a medium and its perfect. Not too big but will fit a hoodie under it comfortably.
Ive never been disapointed with anything ive purchased from CMR so im confident this is up to the task. I wish other manufacturers took quality control, customer service and shipping as serious as CMR. CMR is the standard. Ive been using the same Pancake Hood , almost everyday, for five years and its been flawless. I could use some new balsa so hope they get some.
