WARNING! This is a Carbon Fiber Welding Hood. Carbon is a conductor of electricity. When using DO NOT allow the Welding Hood to make simultaneous contact with the stinger and material your ground lead is place on. Doing so could result in electrical shock, burns or eye injury. Federal and State OSHA requirements should be followed for use of this product. During the welding process, heat and radiation are released, which can cause damage to the eyes and skin. This welding hood helps protect against certain eye and face welding hazards. When wearing, your eyes are always protected against ultraviolet and infrared radiation, regardless of the shade level. To protect the rest of your body, appropriate protective clothing must also be worn. Particles and substances released during the welding process can cause allegoric skin reactions in people who are susceptible. Skin contact with the fabric component can lead to allergic reactions in people who are susceptible. The protective welding hood must only be used for welding and grinding and not for other applications. CMR Fabrications LLC assumes no liability when the welding hood is used for other purposes other than intended or with disregard for the operating instructions. The hood is suitable for all established welding procedures, excluding gas and laser welding.

I've been using it for a month. Quality and lightness are noticeable. It is very durable, and the flip up mechanism is one of a kind
Solid hood, light as a feather. My only gripe is I had to put in a gusset into the lens box because my Wens Lens is beveled, so it was letting in light, and the headgear is a bit complicated, and I couldn't use my aluminum fasteners with them.
I love it great product absolutely amazing.
Lens box retainer clip could be optimized, other than that it’s a great hood. Comparing it to a pipeliners cloud hood setup, I have no bias to which one I grab for the work day.

I had the Pipeliners Cloud carbon fiber sugar scoop for about two years and was never happy with it. Made the switch to the CMR sugar scoop and wow, the difference is night and day. The quality of the flip up, the head gear and the hood in general is outstanding and clearly built to last. Wish I would've bought sooner.

Absolute favorite hood. Added the flip shortly after. Favorite bit is the flare at the base of the hood. Does a good job of keeping smoke and spatter from going up the hood or down my shirt.
I preordered one of these after having used a CMR pancake for years. It was one of the best decisions I've made as far as welding hoods go. It is comfortable, affordable, and backed with some of the best customer support out there. Absolutely recommend any CMR products.
Very light weight with a good headgear. I added on the flip lense in less than 15 minutes. I have 2 of them one for work and one for the garage at home. Definitely would recommend. Also very good customer service and very responsive.
This hood is extremely light weight even with the flip up added, this really helps with fatigue. Very sleek looking hood and so far has been holding up good to stick welding and muddy conditions.Headgear is a lot better than what comes on the eco scoop, overall a very good hood. Customer service is also very good, I had reached out through instagram and was contacted back very promptly and professionally.
Great hood had it a few months and so far it’s been great. Super light weight compared to my others. Headgear is nice and doesn’t wear out my forehead.

My favorite hood to date! Incredibly light, and the headgear is comfortable which you don't Always get with other sugar scoops. I've ran other sugar scoops in the past and they are either much heavier or don't allow for full movement due to their design.
I've had this hood for about 5 months now and I must say that it is my all time favorite hood .. very lightweight, I put a hardhat adapter on mine and it works amazing .. the new flip up design is money as well .. it holds the clear lenses tight to the hood and even has locking mechanism ... even had trouble when I broke my flip up and the customer service they provided was just as good as the product itself !! 10 out of 10
